Ichiro Iino
Age- 28
VA- Michael Donovan
The oldest brother of the family, Ichiro is also the owner and founder of the business. He tends to be more serious than the rest of his siblings, but he does have a sense of humor. Having never gotten the chance to finish college himself, he's quite insistent that his younger siblings do so... although only two of them actually are enrolled. He enjoys reading, especially Shakespeare.
Kaneda Iino
Age- 25
VA- Rob Paulsen
Every family has one member who seems intent on dying before the
age of 30. For this group, that's Kaneda. A daredevil, rebel, and all-around
wiseguy, Kaneda is also an extreme athelete, competing in the semi-pro
circuit. Between his prize money and the occasional endorsement contract
he picks up, Kaneda is the second-largest source of income for the Iino
family.
He's also a motorcycle enthusiast and budding mechanic. Together,
he and Shin have designed a motorcycle known as the _Shinobi,_ in hopes
of liscensing the design to a major manufacturer. The four younger Iinos
each have a prototype, which Kaneda and Shin are always overhauling or
customizing in one way or another. Kaneda has an affection for black, and
on the rare occasions he isn't wearing leather biking gear, he can be found
in a black t-shirt and black jeans.
Shin Iino
Age- 23
VA- Barry Gordon
Shin is the computer enthusiast of the family, not to mention
quite possibly the only ninja in existence to wear glasses. He doesn't
actually need them to see-- he's very mildly farsighted, and only really
wears them for close-up work, such as on his computer or his various electrical
gizmos. Shin has a full-ride scholarship to Columbia University, where
he's double majoring in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
Genius he may be, but Shin is far from your typical nerd. He
is as skilled in martial arts as any of his siblings, and can scramble
up a wall with the best of them. He's quiet, but far from shy, and takes
his siblings' teasing in stride. On occasion, he even tosses out a zinger
that leaves everyone else speechless.
Akira Iino
Age- 22
VA- Will Friedle
Cheerful and good-natured, Akira tends to be the most laid-back
of his siblings. He has a wicked sense of humor, and often winds up as
Kaneda's partner in crime for various pranks and jokes. While he can be
serious on occasion, he's more often the goofball of the entire group.
Akira is the one who can usually be found hanging upside down outside the
window, Spiderman-style.
Akira's dream is to be a movie star, making action movies using
his martial arts training, and he has the good looks, charisma, and genuine
acting ability to pull it off. Currently, his acting consists of small
productions around New York, but his family expects he'll make it big very
soon.
Takeko Iino
Age- 20
VA- Sharon Alexander
Being the youngest in a family of five is tough. And when you're
also the only girl, it gets even harder. Add in the fact that all four
of your older brothers are ninja, and life begins to look like one big
headache. Luckily, Takeko is up to the challenge. She's as skilled a fighter
as any of her brothers, which is good, because she has to prove it on the
sparring mat occasionally. She's also headstrong and independent, which
has gotten her into as much trouble as it's gotten her out of.
Takeko has picked up a skill or two from each of her brothers,
though she's not as good as any of them. Ichiro taught her to cook, and
she has enough experience now that she can help him run the business from
time to time. Kaneda taught her to drive, much to Ichiro's chagrin. From
Shin, she picked up some knowledge of computers, although it's mainly all
hacking tricks. And from Akira, she's learned to lie through her teeth--
though she still can't fool her older brothers.
Takeko is currently a sophomore at NYU, though she hasn't declared
a major yet.
