Kaemon Nakano
A close-range combat and weapons expert, he develops and
practices devastating martial arts techniques. He served as advisor
and martial arts instructor for various US Armed Forces. He is a
Grand Master in Taekwon-Do and Aikido. Han has a quiet demeanor, but
a devastating wit when he chooses to exercise it. He generally
partners with Shark, his serene nature balancing out the younger man's
enthusiasm and cockiness.

Junkyard
Age: 46
Real Name:
Matthew Sinclair
Alpine Mission Specialist, expert mountain climber, and expert
pathfinder, he sets up command posts for surveillance missions. He
also uses advanced high altitude combat techniques. An experienced
mission leader, his survival techniques, anti-personnel counter measures
and his talent as a technical scavenger gave him the name Junkyard.
Trained in all modern weapons and communications systems, he developed new
satellite-based navigation equipment. Junkyard's one of the
easiest-going members of the team, speaking in a slow Georgia drawl.
He's probably the only one who can keep Avalanche's temper in check, as
nothing seems to rattle the man..

Avalanche
Age: 45
Real Name: Unknown
He specializes in cold-area operations and patrols.
Trained as a medic to lead Search-and -Rescue teams, he's also a
communications and navagation expert, equipped with a special GPS tracking
module. He's lead multi-national expeditions in extreme polar
regions. His time in the High Sierra elite ski patrol in the Marines
made him into a world-class consultant on cold weather equipment and
survival. He's listed as one of the fastest downhill skiers in the
world today. All this is only in the past sixteen years, however. Before that, Avalanche has no memory of who or what he was. The Ultra Corps dug him out of the rubble of a destroyed building, and offered him a job when they saw his natural talent for their work. Av's got a touch of temper, usually set off by Shark's
pranks or Flashfire's incessant Bic-flicking. Junkyard is one of the
few men he calls friend; the two are partners and work well together.

Flashfire
Age: 34
Real Name:
Nathan Courtland
Specializes in surgical combat techniques using advanced
fire-based, close-range weapons systems. A former Green Beret, he
has been noted for his uncanny stealthy mobility in all the world's
jungles. A touch of a pyromaniac, Flashy's always carrying at least
three Bic lighters, and has the unconscious habit of absently lighting
them as he's thinking. The chore of cooking generally falls to him,
as he's the only one who really knows his way around the kitchen. He
made the mistake of refusing once, and the squad ended up eating Shark's
attempts at cooking for a week. After Han ended up with food
poisoning, Flashy gladly took back the apron and oven mitts.

Shark
Age: 32
Real Name:
Daniel "Danny" Maxwell
An underwater exploration, demolition and surveillance expert,
he also specializes in various oceanographic studies. An Annapolis
graduate and former commander in the Navy SEALS, Shark's been influential
in the development of advanced re-breaher SCUBA systems. He's never
had a mission fail, no matter how difficult. That probably adds to
his cockiness. Shark's the prankster of the bunch, enjoying nothing
more than a classic practical joke or pun, usually at Av's expense.
The "kid" of the unit, he gets teased as often as he
teases.
