Hi there! Technically, nobody should be reading these notes except me... but on the off chance that I'm dead, captured, or have been rendered a vegetable by the stress of putting up with Team Steel, and you're my successor trying to figure out what to do, I'll introduce myself. My name is Dr. Margaret Jane McAllister, and I'm the head of the psychiatric staff here at N-Tek. Yes, of COURSE there's more than one shrink here. You think one person could handle giving several hundred agents quarterly psych evals all by herself? Get real.
My friends call me Maggie, just so you know. As the head of N-Tek's psych division, I tend mainly towards administrative duties, but I do see patients occasionally. Usually the ones who have the biggest problems, or the most clout. As you can probably guess, Team Steel and peripheral agents take up the majority of my time. These notes are basically my reminders, informal versions of the official psych profiles each agent has in his or her folder. Okay, so there's a few things in here that definitely never make it up to Personnel. But hey, some things just need to be kept under wraps.
You'll also find my informal profiles on some of the creeps we run across on a semi-regular basis. "Know thy Enemy," that's Jefferson Smith's motto, so it's a good thing I had profiling training before I came here. Admittedly, a LOT of this is speculation... but it's educated speculation, and if it's good enough for the FBI, it's good enough for N-Tek. And before you point fingers, this is NOT all second-hand information. I'm field qualified-- barely-- and I've been face-to-face with some of these guys. In some cases, I wish I hadn't.
